What is a Trial Consultation?
A Trial Consultation is an opportunity for you to get to know your Bridal Stylist/Make-up Artist and to see firsthand how your Bridal Hair Design and Bridal Make-up application looks and feels and to ensure it works for you. Depending on which consulting service(s) you opt for, the Trial Consultation consists of a 1 to 2 hour session, with a Bridal Specialist.
How Do I Prepare for My Trial Consultation?
7 Days Prior to your Consultation(s) Please e-mail picture of yourself, your dress, or better yet, a picture of you in your dress, along with photos of any hair styles you have seen in hair publications. Additionally, please send a photo of anything you plan on wearing in your hair on your wedding day This gives us the advance opportunity to create a special look that works with your skin tone and hair texture.
Can the Salon come out to our location?
The standard fee for our salon services to come to you is a $100.00. However depending on the location requested, the fee could vary. Directions to your location must be confirmed at least 2 weeks prior to your wedding day. For wedding locations at hotels with a valet parking provided, please be aware that this is part of your wedding services and charges and must be paid 2 weeks prior as well.
Can a stylist be booked to stay for touch up’s on our wedding day?
Yes, with advance notice, Contact our Salon Artist for extended pricing. Our rate begins when you leave your preparation location and proceed to your ceremony or pre-wedding photos. (This must be confirmed and paid 2 weeks prior to your wedding event)
What happens the day of?
If you are scheduled to come to the salon, please be sure to ask for directions. Please arrive on time, so we can get you ready and off to your location on time. Arrive with clean dry hair, and if you’re receiving a make-up application, come with a clean face. If we come out to you, we ask that you have a working table available and a comfortable chair to sit in. All of this must be near an electrical outlet so we can connect our tools. We request that there be as much light as possible in your hotel or we can arrange our workspace near a window with natural light. We arrive to your location ½ hour before your start time for set up and start at the scheduled time. Please have everyone schedule ready to go.
What do I wear for my Trial and on the Wedding appointment?
Please wear a button or zip down shirt.
What if I want clip on hair put into my style?
If you are looking for extra volume or length, clip in hair is the less expensive way to go. Please be sure to get matched up to your hair color, and please be sure it is human hair so we can use styling tools to curl it. Please bring anything that you plan on wearing in your hair Have it available at your Bridal consultation appointment.
Should my bridesmaids schedule for a Consultation as well?
They can if they choose to. They should contact the salon if the decide to receive this appointment.
After the Trial, what is the next step?
A Pre-Contract is prepared and a Deposit of $100.00 is required, and a credit card is required to hold and secure your wedding day services. We accept Master Card, Visa or Money Orders . Bookings are to paid in full and confirmed with the correct number of persons receiving salon services 2 weeks prior to your wedding. Tips may be paid directly to the assigned Artist. Once your event is booked and paid in full, there are no deletions, and no refunds. Additional appointments are available at an additional charge.
Cancellations
If our clients are unable to keep their appointment, we appreciate a call 24 hours in advance. This allows the Salon at Lincoln Lance to schedule and service other clients. Canceling an appointment with less than 24 hour notice impacts SLL and the opportunity to service other clients. We understand the sudden emergencies of life that require cancellation of your appointment. Therefore we have developed a policy that is sensitive to our clients lives and enforces a policy based on not just one cancellation, but two (2) cancellations.
In the case of two (2) cancellations with less than 24 hour notice, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the cost of the scheduled services. We also reserve the right to ask the client to provide a credit card to book future appointments.
No Shows
More than one (1) No Show will be handled the same as cancellations. We reserve the right to charge a No Show fee of up to 50% of the cost of the scheduled services. We also reserve the right to ask the client to provide a credit card to book future appointments.
